Dr. Johns was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She attended The Ohio State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography with minors in Life Sciences and Spanish. She went on to complete her medical training at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. To be closer to family, she then moved to Hawaii to complete her OB/GYN residency at the University of Hawaii. While in Honolulu, she met her husband, who was stationed at Pearl Harbor in the Navy. After her graduation, they relocated to the Bay Area, only to return back to the islands a few years later.
Dr. Johns is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist. Her specializations include family planning, preventative women’s healthcare and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Johns enjoys spending time with her husband and son, going to the beach and playing volleyball.
